Tesla | Spring 2014 Lifestyle Clothing Line
Working for the private label, Tesla, under Summit Resource International, I was tasked to design 36 lifestyle tops for men and women which involved heavy research on breathable fabrics and construction. 30 out of 36 of my designs were selected, placed into production, and sold in Tesla Automotive stores.

Thesis Project | Fashion Design, Textile Design, and Branding
For my senior thesis project, I designed a small ready-to-wear fashion line including 8 looks, 6 custom textiles, an identity system, and directed two photoshoots.
From my study abroad experience in Italy, I was inspired by the cathedrals we visited and the stories of the corrupt popes in Florence and Rome’s history. The tiles of the Sistine Chapel provided inspiration for the textile design, helping to emulate a snakelike scale pattern. The swooping arches and oculus in many of the cathedrals and the Pantheon were incorporated in the structural shapes of the clothing design.
The fashion illustrations were rendered by hand. The fabrics were designed from photos taken in Italy and manipulated using Adobe software. After the fabric was printed, 4 designs were constructed. Model is Katie Thomas.
